OneNorth skate spot

One North Park @ Buona Vista is not your usual skate spot with concrete in marble features. It is however, a great spot to spice up your regular street footage with some originality.

One of the only wooden wallrides in Singapore.

Weird looking architecture is always good to skate. Though getting speed can be quite difficult, some stall tricks look pretty wicked on this.

Definitely a spot to be creative with your skating, be it on a wallride or stair trick.

Spot is located at the foot of a hill creating possibility for some flat lines before reaching the stairs.

Directions to One North Park @ Buona Vista

One North Park @ Buona Vista Spot is located 2 minutes away (skating downhill) from Buona Vista MRT.

Remember to be respectful of local residents and by-passers. They always have the right of way. Have fun!

Skate Spot #4

NTU (Nanyang Technological University) is on the very west side of Lion City and it takes quite a while to get there, but it's worth checking out.

The bank/pyramid spot is next to the Tan Chin Tuan Lecture Theatre and is extremely fun to skate. You can grind on the top or pop some tricks. This spot is for creative skaters and is shaped in a square so lines would look really cool here.

Also, it can get very hot at this spot and the spot itself has no shade so I recommend coming at around 4-7pm in the evening or  early in the morning, the spot has no lights so I recommend leaving once it gets dark.

WARNING! the top is very un-waxed and if you try to slide on the top you may get stuck and there is a high chance your board will end up in the fountain.

The marble ledges is just a 5 minute walk from the pyramid spot and is a perfect height and length. Bring some wax to help protect the curb and reduce the chances of chipping the edge. The spot is covered so you can skate even when it rains, but the noise will echo so don't bring your entire crew.

Security wise, I have been kicked out of the pyramid spot a couple of times (and I go all the time), but as long as you are polite to security and don't argue you can probably come back in an hour or so and re-start your session.
